February 28th, 2015 (1-3pm Lakeland College) will be our next Sibshop: Secret Sibs!
For those who have never heard of Sibshops, they are fun, activity-based workshops specifically for 6-12yo siblings of children with special needs. This month we will be using invisible ink, making secret keeper boxes, and playing games involved in guessing and keeping secrets.
Worked into this fun is support for Sibs, recognizing that being a Sib is sometimes a good thing, sometimes not-so-good, and often somewhere in between. Sibs have a lot to offer to each other, and to their families, and this is a chance for them to be just kids with other kids who 'get it'.
See our Sibshop page for more info on this and other upcoming Sibshops.
If you would like to register a child, please contact us at [email protected]. We still have spots available, and the more people we have the more fun we can have too!
